General Doug Fraser, Commander, U.S. Southern Command, welcomes Cpl. Rory Hamill, a Wounded Warrior and resident of Mays Landing, N.J., to U.S. Southern Command, May 24. Cpl. Hamill served with 2nd Battalion, 8th Marines in the Helmand Province, Afghanistan when he was struck by an improvised explosive device while conducting a dismounted patrol. The Wounded Warriors flew into Miami from Washington, D.C. where they toured both the U.S. Southern Command and U.S. Marine Corps Forces, South.
