Carlos Sardiello, commander, U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet, discusses the exercise Integrated Advance 2025 with Marines participating as part of the Joint Force Maritime Component Commander (JFMCC). Sailors and Marines are serving together for the Joint Force Maritime Component Commander (JFMCC) during Integrated Advance 2025, working through a contingency scenario in the USSOUTHCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR) to validate warfighting functions and clarify phase transitions at the operational level of war.
