U.S. Marines with 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, and Chilean Marines set up a security perimeter after a successful amphibious landing near the Expeditionary Advanced Base North in Puerto Aldea, Chile, on Sept. 7, 2024. U.S. Marines and Chilean Marines staged up while waiting for their vehicles to unload from their landing craft, air-cushioned vessel on the beach during a raid conducted as part of Exercise UNITAS LXV. UNITAS focuses on strengthening our existing regional partnerships and encouraging the establishment of new relationships through the exchange of maritime mission-focused knowledge and expertise. (U.
