U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Kelly Quinn, a motor transport mechanic with Marine Air Support Squadron 6, talks with Chilean marines during Exercise UNITAS LXV, hosted by the Chilean Marine Corps, at the Expeditionary Advanced Base North in Puerto Aldea, Chile, on Sept. 3, 2024. EAB North was set up to facilitate multi-lateral training and provide amphibious operation training in the littorals. Through event-driven scenarios, UNITAS provides unique training opportunities both at-sea and ashore in challenging and uncertain environments to conduct joint maritime operations that enhance warfighting proficiency and increase interoperability among participating naval and marine forces. This year marks the 65th iteration of the world’s longest running annual multinational maritime exercise. (U. S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Payton Goodrich)
