U.S. Marine Sgt. Christopher Roark, an engineer assistant with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Southern Command, attaches a hook during a helicopter support training exercise in Coveñas, Colombia, Oct. 1, 2019. The training is part of a week-long humanitarian assistance and disaster relief rehearsal between U.S. and Colombian Marines. The task force is conducting training and engineering projects hand-in-hand with partner nation military members in Latin America and the Caribbean during their deployment to the region, which coincides with hurricane season.
