U.S. Marine Cpl. Gage Weber, a CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter crew chief with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Southern Command, prepares to board passengers during flight operations aboard the USS Gunston Hall (LSD-44) off the coast of Belize, July 8, 2018. The SPMAGTF-SC aviation detachment conducted this exercise to prepare for transporting U.S. Marines from ship to shore in the event of a natural disaster or humanitarian operation. The Marines and sailors of SPMAGTF-SC are conducting security cooperation training and engineering projects alongside partner nation military forces in Central and South America.
