U.S. Marine Sgt. David G. Gaudette, the staff noncommissioned officer in charge of the Honduras Detachment, Ground Combat Element, Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Southern Command, is presented an instructor’s pin by a Honduran marine with the Batallion de Infanteria de Marina at the graduation for the Advanced Infantry Course in Trujillo, Honduras, Nov. 10, 2017. The course was designed to further enhance the skills of Honduran marines who have mastered the basics of infantry operations. The Marines and sailors of SPMAGTF-SC are concluding their deployment to Central America, during which they conducted security cooperation training and engineering projects with their counterparts in several Central American and Caribbean nations.
