U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Evan Craig, a combat engineer with the Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force (SPMAGTF), places a mortarbed during rifle range construction in Puerto Castillo Nov. 29. The SPMAGTF Marines consists of Marines from various commands and elements who collectively operate on a small expeditionary level in support of Amphibious Souther Partnership Station 12 (AMPHIB-SPS 12) an annual deployment of U.S. military training teams sent to the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility to will conduct subject matter expert exchanges with partner nations and complete humanitarian projects.
