Dominican Republic Marines and Airmen look at points on a map that they will use for land navigation training on San Isidro Air Base. U.S. Marines assigned to High Speed Vessel (HSV 2) Swift, Marine Corps Detachment (MARDET) are participating in a three-week partnership with the Dominican Marines. The Swift is deployed on Southern Partnership Station (SPS) 2012. Southern Partnership Station is an annual deployment of U.S. ships to the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility in the Caribbean, Central and South America.::r::::n::
