Aviation Boatswain's Mate 3rd Class James Shirley guides a CH-46 in for landing aboard USS Oak Hill (LSD 51) in support of Amphibious-Southern Partnership Station 2012 (AMPHIB-SPS 12). Shirley is among several Boatswain's Mates training to guide aircraft aboard a moving vessel. AMPHIB-SPS 12 is an annual deployment of U.S. military training teams to the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility.
