Marines from 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion carry Meals, Ready-To-Eat (MREs) to their compound where they will stay during the Subject Matter Expert Exchange (SMEE) training that they will be conducting with their Colombian counterparts. The Marines are participating in Amphibious Southern Partnership Station 12, an annual deployment of U.S. military training teams to the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility.
