Lt. Col. Richard Coates, commanding officer of the 4th Reconnaissance Battalion, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, says thank you to members of the 285th Combat Communications Squadron, Virgin Islands Air National Guard and the 232nd Combat Communications Squadron, Alabama Air National Guard, both of the 254th Combat Communications Group of Garland, Texas, for a job well done during Exercise Tradewinds 2011, March 11, 2011. Members of both units helped to maintain communication between multiple training sites and command centers during Tradewinds, an exercise designed to increase and enhance security and inter-operability in the Caribbean.
