An amphibious assault vehicle (AAV) returns to USS Gunston Hall (LSD 44), Feb. 20. Marines with Security Cooperation Task Force (SCTF) took AAVs ashore into Puerto Barrios, Guatemala to conduct information exchanges in support of Amphibious Southern Partnership Station 2011 (A-SPS11). U.S. military presence in the Caribbean, Central and South America demonstrates its commitment to regional security and supports the U.S. Global Maritime Strategy.
