Marines and Sailors work together in an assembly line loading supplies on board dock landing ship USS Gunston Hall (LSD 44) in preparation for Amphibious Southern Partnership Station 2011 (A-SPS 11). A-SPS 11 provides the opportunity for joint operations between partner nations, which develops and tests participating regional civil and maritime services’ capabilities to respond to a wide variety of maritime missions while keeping open vital lines of communication between regional services.
