Marine Corps CH-46E helicopters sit securely tied down to the flight deck of the multi-purpose amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima. Iwo Jima departed Paramaribo, Suriname on Nov. 1, 2010 en-route to Haiti to assist in possible disaster relief operations caused by Hurrican Tomas. The ship arrived in the Haiti region, Nov. 5, to provide aerial assessments along main supply routes and populated areas throughout the southern peninsula.
