Mexican marines training with 4th Platoon, Company C, 3rd Assault Amphibian Battalion, 1st Marine Division, clean a hatch on an amphibious assault vehicle in the well deck of the amphibious transport dock USS New Orleans (LPD 18) in the Pacific Ocean June 28, 2010. The unit was embarked on New Orleans in support of Partnership of the Americas 2010 (POA-10) and Southern Exchange 2010 (SE-10), two separate U.S. Marine Corps Forces, South (MARFORSOUTH) exercises being executed concurrently with partner nation forces from Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.
