Maj. Gen. Cornell A. Wilson, Jr., Commander of Marine Corps Forces, South, visits a classroom at Garden City Primary School in Belmopan, Belize, where Marines with the logistic command element of the Security Cooperation Marine Air-Ground Task Force are working on improvement projects including pouring sidewalks, painting and electrical repairs, Dec. 3. The SCMAGTF is currently deployed on Southern Partnership Station-Amphib with Destroyer Squadron 40 embarked on USS Wasp (LHD 1). SPS is part of the Partnership of the Americas Maritime Strategy that focuses on building interoperability and cooperation in the region to meet common challenges.
