Operations Specialist 3rd Class Niretzy Madera (right) shows Peruvian Naval Officer Lt. Oscar Regaldo controls for the 73 radar aboard USS Oak Hill (LSD 51) during a man overboard June 22, 2009. During training foreign naval officers from Peru and Uruguay were given a chance to steer the ship. The Oak Hill is participating in a combined multinational exercise Southern Partnership Station '09. SPS '09 is a combined naval and amphibious operation with Oak Hill and maritime forces from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru, and Uruguay. The Oak Hill will also support the U.S Marine Corps Forces, South multinational combined exercise Southern Exchange 2009 at the Divisão Anfíbia and the island of Marambaia, Rio de Janeiro (U.S. Army photo by Pvt.
