The FEN is a section of the Guatemalan Navy special operations. The Marines with the detachment have been working with the FEN and other units within the Guatemalan military over recent weeks to coordinate for their part in Operation Martillo. U.S. Marine Corporal Luchmy Luc, a 22-year-old native of Hollywood, Fla., is all smiles as he shakes hands with Heath Bell, a relief pitcher for the Miami Marlins. Luc, an administrative clerk with U.S. Marine Corps Forces, South, was recognized as the Marlins' Soldier of the Game, June 11. The 2008 graduate of South Broward High School said he was honored to be recognized by his hometown team.

U.S. Marine Corps Corporal Luchmy Luc, a 22-year-old native of Hollywood, Fla., stands with Heath Bell, a relief pitcher for the Miami Marlins, and Billy the Marlin, the team's mascot, after being recognized as Soldier of the Game, June 11. The Marlins kicked off a three-game series with the Boston Red Sox with a salute to the troops during one of their Military Monday baseball game. U.S. Marine Corps Corporal Luchmy Luc, a 22-year-old native of Hollywood, Fla., stands with Heath Bell, a relief pitcher for the Miami Marlins, and Billy the Marlin, the team's mascot, after being recognized as Soldier of the Game, June 11. The Marlins kicked off a three-game series with the Boston Red Sox with a salute to the troops during one of their Military Monday baseball game. Luc is an administrative clerk with U.S. Marine Corps Forces, South and was recognized for his career accomplishments and service to his country and community.
