U.S. and Chilean Marines Conduct MCMAP
U.S. Marines with 4th Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion and Chilean Marines, work on and repair their light armored vehicle at Expeditionary Advanced Base North in Puerto Aldea, Chile, on Sept. 8, 2024. In preparation for an amphibious raid during Unitas 2024 they conduct maintenance on their equipment to maintain its functionality. UNITAS, which is Latin for “unity”, was conceived in 1959 and has taken place annually since first conducted in 1960.
