The Amazon jungle has significant waterways and littoral environments, the Brazilian Marines shared their vast knowledge and experience from operating along these rivers regularly. U.S. partnerships in the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibly are forged by shared challenges and common objectives. Bilateral training events such as jungle training develops and sustains relationships that improve the capacity of U.S. and partner nation maritime forces to achieve common desired effects.
