U.S. Marines with U.S. Marine Corps Forces, South, participate in a virtual subject matter expert exchange at U.S. Southern Command in Miami, Florida, Jan. 27, 2021. The Puerto Rican National Guard hosted the non-commissioned officer leadership development subject matter expert exchange and the engagement included the Dominican Republic armed forces, 12th Air Force (Air Forces Southern), Inter-American Air Force Academy and U.S. Marine Corps Force, South. The exchange included discussions of the enlisted force structure, leadership, roles, professional military education, promotions, evaluation processes, performance feedback, and career development for all of the forces involved.
