SPMAGTF-SC 2020 OPENING CEREMONY
Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Southern Command's 2020 deployment has officially kicked off with the opening ceremony at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, June 26. SPMAGTF-SC stands ready to deploy to Latin America and the Caribbean while working alongside partner nation militaries, enhancing crisis response efforts. The unit will remain ready to provide humanitarian assistance and disaster relief in the event of a hurricane or natural disaster in region.
