Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force – Southern Command 19 Opening Ceremony
Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez greets Teniente Coronel de Infantería de Marina Colombiano (Colombian Marine Lt. Col.) Eduar Alexander Michaels Bravo, the deputy commander of Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force – Southern Command before the opening ceremony of SPMAGTF-SC19’s deployment June 21, 2019, at Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras. The ceremony marks the beginning of the SPMAGTF-SC deployment to Latin America and the Caribbean. The task force will conduct training and engineering projects hand-in-hand with partner nation military members in the region during their deployment that coincides with hurricane season.
