SPMAGTF-SC CH-53E Super Stallion helicopters return from deployment
U.S. Marines with the aviation element of Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Southern Command depart Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, aboard two CH-53E Super Stallion helicopters after their mission came to an end Nov. 15, 2016. SPMAGTF-SC, a temporary deployment of Marines and sailors to Central America for the past six months, focused on building and maintaining existing relationships in the region and executing different missions to include engineering projects, host nation force training and humanitarian assistance and disaster relief.
