Sponsored by U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), Integrated Advance 2025 is a computer-aided exercise that allows participants to work through a contingency scenario in the USSOUTHCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR) to validate warfighting functions, resolve friction points and clarify phase transitions at the operational level of war.

U.S. Marine Corps Forces, South and the Brazilian Naval Infantry (CFN) commenced Exercise Formosa today, a major Brazilian military exercise with U.S. participation aimed at enhancing the bilateral training partnership between the United States Marine Corps and Brazil and strengthening regional security.Exercise Formosa will involve a series of joint training activities designed to improve interoperability, readiness, and mutual understanding between U.S. and Brazilian forces, including the Brazilian air force and army. PANAMAX is a multinational exercise sponsored by U.S. Southern Command that emphasizes military training and collaboration among partner nation militaries in the Western Hemisphere. UNITAS LXIV is officially underway. The opening ceremony of the world’s longest-running multinational maritime exercise formally launched this year’s iteration on July 12, 2023. Twenty nations are coming together to conduct the 64th iteration of UNITAS, which is Latin for unity. In concert with U. S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet, approximately 650 United States Marines from Marine Forces South (MARFORSOUTH), Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES), and II Marine Expeditionary Force will provide direct support to nautical, aerial and shore-based training events throughout the land and waters around Cartagena, Coveñas and Barranquilla, Colombia.
