Marine Leaders of The Americas Conference (MLAC) 2025

Marines from Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 467 (HMLA-467) unload a UH-1N Huey helicopter. Four UH-1N Huey helicopters from HMLA-467 and crews will be participating in Operation Martillo. The crews and aircraft are attached to U.S. Marine Corps Forces, South for the duration of the deployment and will be used for detection and monitoring. Operation Martillo is an operation led by Joint-Interagency Task Force-South, of the U.S. Southern Command, and is designed to help stem the flow of narcotics through Central America and its Pacific and Caribbean coasts by denying transnational criminal organizations littorals used for illicit trafficking.
