Marines enjoy Peruvian culture during bilateral training
U.S. Marines Lance Cpl. Jacob Richey and Lance Cpl. Quavaungh Pointer, with Task Force Koa Moana, bite into churros sold to them by a street vendor in Lima, Peru, Sept. 4, 2016. Marines and sailors with the task force experienced Peruvian culture in order to have a better understanding of the country they are working hand in hand with in bilateral military training. Task Force Koa Moana is in Peru as part of a theater security cooperation engagement to integrate and improve interoperability with Peruvian Marines. Together with the USNS Pililaau (T-AKR 304), the Marines and sailors of the task force highlighted the strength and capabilities of the Navy-Marine Corps team. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
