Marine Leaders of The Americas Conference (MLAC) 2025

A member of the Guatemalan Special Forces exit a Riverine Patrol Boat (RPB) to lead his team to an insertion point in the jungle of Santo Tomas Dec. 6. The simulation was held with U.S. Marines attached to a Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force (SPMAGTF) and members of the Guatemalan Naval Special Forces. The Riverines and SPMAGTF Marines are participating in the SMEE exchanges as a part of Amphibious-Southern Partnership Station 2012 (AMPHIB-SPS 12), an annual deployment of U.S. military teams to the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility.
