Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Aldridge, a Riverine from Riverine Squadron 3(RIVRON 3) Detachment 1 (Det. 1) radios in mock simulations that U.S. Marines attached to Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force (SPMAGTF) participated in on Dec. 6. The Riverines and SPMAGTF Marines are participating in the SMEE exchanges with the Guatemalan Naval Special Forces as a part of Amphibious-Southern Partnership Station 2012 (AMPHIB-SPS 12), an annual deployment of U.S. military teams to the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility.
