Marine Leaders of The Americas Conference (MLAC) 2025

Marine LCpl. Ruben D. Gomez, from Security Cooperation Task Force (SCTF) converses with Colombian Marines from 4th Infantry Battalion and 2nd Infantry Battalion as Marines and Sailors come ashore in Covenas, Sucre, Jan. 29. SCTF is embarked aboard Gunston Hall on a scheduled deployment to the U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) area of responsibility supporting Amphibious Southern Partnership Station 2011 (A-SPS 11). A-SPS 11 will provide the opportunity for joint operations between partner nations while exercising vital lines of communication between regional security services.
