Cpl. Aaron Ferguson, of Ocala, Fl., assigned to the "Iron Horses" of Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron (HMH) 461,fires a .50 cal machine gun in a CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter while Sgt. Tyler Crouch, of Pensacola, Fl., watches. HMH-461 is part of a Security Cooperation Marine Air-Ground Task Force(SCMAGTF). USS Wasp (LHD 1) is currently deployed on Southern Partnership Station-Amphib with Destroyer Squadron 40 and a SCMAGTF embarked. Southern Partnership Station is part of the Partnership of the Americas Maritime Strategy that focuses on building interoperability and cooperation in the region to meet common challenges.
