Marine Leaders of The Americas Conference (MLAC) 2025

Marines with the 2nd Fast Security Forces and Combat Logistics Regiment 25 instruct Peruvian Lt. Hernan Soto on the proper use of the M4 rifle during a dry fire exercise aboard USS Oak Hill (LSD 51) June 21, 2009. Oak Hill is participating in a combined naval and amphibious operation with Oak Hill and maritime forces from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru, and Uruguay. The USS Oak Hill will also support the U.S. Marine Corps Forces, South multinational combined exercise Southern Exchange 2009 at the Diviso Anfbia and the island of Marambaia, Rio de Janeiro from July 13-31.
